Hello Forum! Every quarter, I re-create a project board (off of my template!) for coordinating logistics for two meetings that takes place once every quarter. This project is a deadline-bound workflow.
Every time I create my project board off of the template, I have to manually assign due dates to all my tasks and sub tasks. Is there a way that I can automate due dates based on when the project starts and ends?
Yes, this is a key feature of project templates. They support relative dates (optionally weekend aware) for tasks that are either based on the project’s start date or end date (you have to pick one or the other). So you place those relative dates on the tasks in the template once. Then, when you create the new project from the template, you specify the project start or due date and those task dates are automatically set.
