At-mentioning in a Task Template

I understand task templates live in a sort of limbo area, so I’m not sure this is possible.

I have a task with subtasks in it and I sometimes at-mention the parent task in the subtasks. I want to make this task replicable in a task template but currently you can’t at-mention in this manner with a task template.

I feel like I’m going to get a “why do you do this” here, so: I have some slower Asana adopters and the parent task name isn’t well highlighted and its not super well noted that a subtask is a subtask at all especially when accessing from your My Tasks. I don’t want to send people hunting, I just want to get them to where they need to be as fast as possible and at-mentioning the parent has been working for us.

I believe you asked the same question on Slack, didn’t you?
The answer is the same: you can’t mention the “parent task” in a task template just yet.
