For those of you who would like to see a ‘Starred’ mode added to the new navigation bar, where you could star anything (so you could mix projects, portfolios and teams) please vote for it here:

Add a 'Starred’ mode to the new sidebar redesign (2025)

What I’m missing from the new sidebar redesign is a ‘Starred’ mode where you could pick and mix any objects in Asana to create your own ‘personal’ mode, more importantly being able to combine Portfolios, Projects and Teams. I think this would address one of the main issues I’m hearing from customers I work with and members in this forum. This would simply negate any current friction as it would provide the same navigation preference that I assume many users already have, which is to just use th…
