I’ve recently come across a new tool, Capacities.io. They’re nowhere near Asana in terms of maturity, but they have a few very interesting features, one being their graph view.
First, Capacities allow many-to-many relationships across the whole platform, something that is already limited quite significantly in Asana. So I can create ‘countries’ as an object, and each country can then be linked to everything from meetings to notes to people (other objects) in m2m relations.
But the killer feature really is seeing that in a graph view, with the ability to zoom in/out to first degree, second degree etc. For every single object, there is a little sidebar view allowing you to see how this record is related to other records - it really is baked in at the basic level.
I read that Asana already works with what you call the Asana Work Graph. It would make so much sense to elevate this from a conceptual plan to a real product feature. Preferably including the many-to-many linking ability.
