Asana Windows Desktop App is Slowing Down My Computer. Is there a setting that can change this?

I have been using the Asana desktop app on Windows for a few years now. I really like it and have no complaints on the usage experience.

However, lately my computer has been taking foreeeeeeeeeever to log in. I’m talking 40 minutes. It seems that this is largely due to a few other apps I’m having a similar problem with in addition to Asana. Right now, my Asana is taking up about 7GB of space in my roaming appdata folder. I have tried deleting it but, of course, it pulls it right back down.

Is there a way to reduce this without, you know, deleting stuff from my Asana? Is there a way to set the app to only download what is currently in use and to delete the local copies of things that haven’t been used in a while. I know it’s all in the cloud so I don’t think it’s necessary to keep it all on the machine.

Sorry, @Kristin_Martin,

If no one helps here (I don’t use the Desktop app), you might want to Try these troubleshooting steps, then please create a support ticket: see How to contact our Support Team.
