I’d like to request an improvement to Asana’s search functionality, with a particular focus on supporting power users who rely heavily on the keyboard for fast navigation.
Asana continues to add powerful features and hubs, which is great, but many of these elements are not accessible through the main search bar. For users who prefer keyboard-driven workflows rather than clicking through the interface and scrolling through multiple sections, this creates unnecessary friction. With the introduction of Modes and the further separation of features into distinct areas, discoverability through search feels more necessary than ever.
It would be extremely helpful if the search bar could surface the following items directly:
-
Individual forms
-
Saved searches
-
Forms hub
-
Custom Fields hub
-
Rules hub
-
Bundles hub
-
Project Templates hub
-
Workflow Gallery
-
Etc.
Enabling search-based access to these areas would significantly improve speed, accessibility, and overall usability for admins and advanced users who manage complex setups and depend on quick, keyboard-first navigation.
