🥳 Asana now offers 1-seat plans for business tier features! 🙏

Woo! After a long wait. We now have access to 1-seat plans in Asana!
Thank you all at Asana. Once my next billing cycle starts, I think I’ll upgrade my tier too!

I wish I didn’t need to wait 20 days. They haven’t made it that easy. I have to wait for the next billing cycle before the 1-seat plan is established, then I’m guessing I can upgrade the 1-seat plan to the advanced tier after the next cycle starts.

There is no easy way to just go ahead and set up a 1-seat advanced tier from the get go or from the admin console.

Correct - at the moment, our understanding is that this is a special offer that Asana is testing out which is shown in the cancellation flow to domains that have one active member.

Hi @Adam_Brougher!

If this affects your current decision, you might want to confirm; I’m not sure if we know that a 1-seat plan will be offered for Advanced.

Thanks,

Larry

That’s an interesting topic.
Looking at it positively, do you think it would make it easier for guest users to use?

Was this a pop-up or did you find an organic way to get here? I know a few people who may leave because they can’t downgrade to 1-seat so I’d love to share this with them!

@lpb , I figured it out. The option to change to 1 seat advanced is available immediately from the upgrade flow from the admin console.

@ka_nishiyama, hmm  I’d guess the guests situation remains as it has been.
I’d like to see what we could do with Tasks that are visible to people who don’t even have asana accounts. Like publicly shared documents.

@Kelly_Perry4
I found a direct route through Admin Console > Billing > Change Plan

Hi @Adam_Brougher

I think this will make it easier for guest users in an organization who like Asana and want to use it exclusively for themselves to sign up.

There have been posts on the forum for some time now about the need for a single license.
