Asana mobile app freezing with camera usage

When utilizing the Asana mobile app on iPhone’s running iOS 26+, it will freeze inside of the camera when attempting to use it to take a picture. It will not allow you to press the ‘Retake’ or ‘Use Picture’ options. The picture will show as attached only if you force close the app and reopen the specific project.

Reinstalling the app did not work. This is on the newest version of Asana available (26.26.0), and it appears that Asana status is fully operational. It does not freeze when attaching photos/videos, only when attempting to use the camera from inside Asana to take a photo. This is affecting productivity for our users.

I haven’t (yet) heard other reports of this, so I think your best bet is: Try these troubleshooting steps (most related more to the web app), then please create a support ticket: see How to contact our Support Team.

Hi Larry,

Any attempt to make a support ticket has inevitably resulted in the AI support chat getting stuck into a loop. I have created three separate chats, all within different browsers, incognito, clearing cache/history, etc. Is there any direct way to contact Support?

@Forum-team, there’s been an uptick of reports of not being able to reach support with the provided instructions. I just tried the chat and got a blank chat window:

Thanks for reporting this. I’ve reported this internally since it appears to be a bug in the Asana mobile app. I’ll let you know here if I receive any updates.

Also, in my post above, Asana mobile app freezing with camera usage - #4 by lpb, the blank chat window is another problem I was asking about. I was in a current Chrome version on Mac.
