Asana and Calendly integration in the starter package

Hello,

I was wondering if Asana could integrate with Calendly if my team purchases the starter package? We are currently using Calendly to book meetings with our clients and would be a game-changer for our team to have it all in one place. Thanks!

@Breanna_Vega - not directly. However, you can easily use Zapier or Make.com to connect them.

My team uses Calendly as well and every appointment becomes a meeting task in Asana, scheduled on the right time and day, with the info from the Calendly appointment request.

For complex automations with Zapier, you may need a developer. However, this one is pretty straightforward.

  • You’ll trigger the automation when an event is scheduled.
  • The action will be “Create a task” in Asana.

Hi ! I just recently used Zapier to connect our Calendly and Asana. I made it so that each calendly appointment request becomes an asana task. For your team, if someone reschedules or cancels a calendly event have you made a zap for when this happens asana will delete the task. I am trying to figure out if this is possible?

Hi @Emily_Elizer , yes this is possible with Zapier.com.

In my case, I don’t delete the task - I use AI to create a custom action in Zapier to convert it to an approval and then mark it as rejected so it has a red X because I want to keep track of cancellations.

Furthermore, I have Zapier check the time of cancellation or rescheduling against the originally scheduled session and mark a field on the tasks as ‘Billable’ if it was less than 24hours (because that’s my cancellation policy).
