At my company, we have forms that trigger rules that then generate a main task and many subtasks. I would like to be able to apply custom fields to the subtasks, so that I don’t have to add them manually every time. The color coding of the custom fields helps me organize my task list and assess at a glance what needs to be done. This would be great feature to have, if there isn’t already a way to do this.

You can do this now - if you click the pencil icon when adding a subtask in the rule action,
it will open a task detail pane for that subtask and you can set custom fields on it:

Thank you for your response!! I realized that I had not added my custom field type to the same project where this rules lives, which is why I wasn’t seeing it.
