An Asana Love Story: Project Management meets wedding planning đź’Ť

When Hannah started planning her dream wedding weekend, she knew she needed more than spreadsheets and sticky notes to keep everything on track. So she turned to Asana—and invited her fiancé to join the project!

Together, they built out their wedding plan like pros:

:check_mark: Custom fields created
:check_mark: Tasks assigned

As the big day approached and plans evolved, Asana kept pace. From vendor coordination to event timelines, it all came together seamlessly.

The end result?
:sparkles: Nine beautifully executed wedding events
:sparkles: A planning template so good her bridesmaids couldn’t resist requesting!

And yes—they lived productively ever after

We’re inspired by how you use Asana to plan life’s biggest events — from dream weddings to major milestones. Got a story? Share how Asana helped make it happen via this form!

It’s no longer so uncommon to hear about Asana wedding planning stories, so I’ve started responding that I’m planning my divorce in Asana  (These are JOKES, people. Of course, my wife is an expert Asana Ambassador.)

More seriously, I’ve successfully used Asana to plan and coordinate:

  • a large, complex, public memorial event (and dinner) with many speakers and musical performances
  • an eight-album streaming and download release of an artist’s previously-unreleased historic live jazz concerts

Thanks,

Larry

Hahahahaha not naming names, but I do have a friend who used Asana to plan their divorce

They went with a DIY service for the process, so they had to handle a bunch of steps and paperwork themselves over several months. And really, what better way to stay on top of everything than with an Asana project?

That said… I do hope wedding planning is still the more common use case than divorce planning! :joy:
