The image proofing feature in Asana Business is amazing, and it would be SO helpful to make it work on PDFS. Our design team creates a lot of booklets that need revisions. Currently, we have to upload each page as a separate screenshot, which is a hassle and can get to be messy in the comments section.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us! Proofing is already available for PNG, JPG, GIF & BMP files ; hopefully we can bring it to more format in the future, including PDFs

would really need this feature as PDFs are the primary means of sharing multi-page documents with any sort of reviewing stakeholders for us 
I agree that this should be an option. We have multi-page documents that several team members need to review and comment on, and the other formats don’t allow for all images to be within one document. We each have to download the pdf, add comments, and then upload into Asana, which means our designer is adding comments from sometimes up to five different versions. Not very efficient for us!
Is there any update on this? We have creative assets in PDFs all the time, and it would make life so much easier to be able to provide feedback on PDFs instead of taking a screenshot.
+1 on this. Our team handles a lot of pdf content and we currently send marked up pdfs back and forth via slack which is a hassle.
Another vote for needing PDF for proofing. I’ve cancelled my business subscription and gone back to Premium until this is sorted. I’m using Cage for proofing at the moment instead.
+1 for proofing PDFs. As much as I love digital-only shops, we still do a ton of print, and need to have an integrated proofing system for all projects. We’re holding off on Business upgrade until this is sorted.
I heard there was proofing for PDF’s at a local Toronto Asana Business Workshop. Any update on this feature?

This new feature has been rolled out to 10% of users and will be become available to everyone within the next couple of days!

Hi Marie! Thanks for the PDF update in proofing. I really like the concept of being able to identify a specific line that needs revision, but 10 new comments and their completions create 20 notifications. I’m worried about losing important comments on other projects because of this-- is there a way to collapse all the revisions on a task into one notification?

HI @Evan_Swope and thank you so much for the feedback! Providing these notifications are generated within an hour of each other, we automatically batch them in emails (Email notifications from Asana | Product guide • Asana Product Guide) we’re also working on improving batching in the Asana Inbox, so hopefully that should help in the future!
