All my personal tasks have dissapeared over the weekend.

Hi all. I came back to my Asana account this morning and the tasks I could see on my calendar view felt a little light. I then concluded all my personal tasks are gone. I can’t even search them by name in search field. They seem to all have been deleted. I don’t see to have a place to find all my personal tasks. I call personal tasks → Tasks I didn’t assign to projects when I created them. But now they are all gone. Can someone help please?

Welcome, @Paul_McNeilage, and sorry to hear this.

Is there any chance you’ve logged into Asana differently than you had last week? That might cause the problem you’re seeing. If so, try to log in the previous way.

Or…

Click you profile image (circle in bottom left corner in web/desktop Asana version). In the Account column on the left side, make sure the checkmark is next to the correct workspace if there is more than one. This also could cause what you’re seeing.

Otherwise, Try these troubleshooting steps, then please create a support ticket: see How to contact Asana Support.

Thanks,

Larry

It sounds like your personal tasks in Asana may have been affected by a recent update—tasks not assigned to projects are often stored in the “My Tasks” section rather than the calendar view. Try checking “My Tasks” directly, reviewing archived or completed tasks, and confirming filters aren’t hiding them. If they’re still missing, reach out to Asana support with details, as they can help recover or clarify what happened.
