Last week, I managed to bypass the actual time trigger and rule issue (got 70 votes btw!) by asking the AI to do it.
I made an update to reduce the number of used token and since it doesn’t work anymore. The Ai tells my that actual time doen’t exist. In fact, it tells me that the only native fields it has access are Id, title and type.
Please give back that information to the AI or allow us to make condition based on actual time.
Hi @Jérémie_Morales-Chau
Actual Time isn’t available as a rule trigger, and it looks like the AI no longer has access to that field in your setup. I’ve flagged this with the team to investigate.
If you can, please share:
- A sample task where you expect Actual Time
- The AI message showing only Id, title, and type
- Your prompt before vs. after reducing tokens
In the meantime, a simple workaround is to use a custom number field (e.g., “Logged hours”) and build rules around that.
Also, feel free to keep adding your use case here so it’s tracked: Ability to use the Actual Time field in a rule trigger
Hi @Iren_Vilaniso
- A sample task where you expect Actual Time
When the redactor render the article online, before he ask to proofread it, he is requested to add actual time. By faliling to do so, the task get deplaced to a section called Errors with an error message asking him to input actual time.

The AI message showing only Id, title, and type
- I have made test in English and French to see if I could get what I wanted by changing language
-
Your prompt before vs. after reducing tokens
- I don’t have the original anymore.
- I have tried :
- “Actual time” > 0 OR “Actual time” is not NULL
- “Actual time” is not defined
- And other variations in French and English
