Ability to use the Actual Time field in a rule trigger

Hi - We’d love to be able to add a rule that unless you have filled in the actual time field you can not complete a task. At the moment it doesn’t seem possible to add the time-tracking field into a rule. Is this a possibility.

Hi @Georgina_Labelle,

You’re correct, it’s not currently available in rule triggers.

I moved your post to the Product Feedback forum section to let you and others vote for this feature.

I’d also like to use “Actual time” as a rule trigger to send a slack message to keep the project manager aware if a project is taking longer than expected.

I’d love to use it as a trigger to change Custom Field Status to “In Progress” once Actual Time timer is started.

Hi,

I wanted to second also. I would have a great use if a rule trigger was possible for time-tracking field.

Thank you!

I’d love to use Actual Time as a condition when building rules. For example, if someone checks off a task but Actual Time is empty, the rule would post a comment reminding the person to add their time to the task.

Echo this - please make this feature available it would be widely used.

Hello, any news for this feature?

A trigger when time is added to a task would be a big improvement for us to automate workflows.

Totally needed! Do you guys know any workarounds? zappier?

As someone who is constantly chasing people to update their actual time, this feature would would be really helpful.

It would be great to implement this feature, since even AI Studio does not allow you to implement a status change when the timer starts.

Any updates?
