thanks. it doesn’t. i am pretty tech savvy and the only way i can get to what i need is to use the web application and not the app. which - ok. but wish the app worked.
Right. Forgot about that “workaround”… using Asana in a browser. 
Oh well. Glad we’re all finding things that work for us while the good chaps at Asana work this out.
