Added as collaborator on sections created between subtasks in Templates V2

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing: When a project manager makes a new project from a v2 template, I am getting notifications that I have been added as a collaborator (normal behavior) to tasks, and also to sections (not normal). From my Inbox the section shows up like a task, but clicking into it in the project it is just a normal section. There is no way for me to remove myself as a collaborator as sections do not have collaborators.

Steps to reproduce: Every time a new project is made

Browser version: Multiple browsers & desktop

No, I don’t know anything about this, but definitely agree it is bizarre and @Ben_Brown_Bentley I would definitely encourage you to report it to Asana support.

Thanks for flagging this, @Ben_Brown_Bentley! We have a bug report about this and our product team is investigating. I’ll update this thread once we have an update! For reference, this happens on sections added between subtasks.

Thanks all! Can confirm this appears to only happen for sections within a task/between subtasks.
