I’m heavily missing kind of feature “Add to goals” in context menu of portfolios, projects, tasks, etc.
Not a big deal, but if you want to add something to Goals you always need to jump into the goal and then search for the related work. More you use Goals feature and organizing your team by this way the more annoying is adding something to the goals.
Something like this would be great or even just a field for goals you could add to projects and then link from here.
yes yes yes. Facilitating a strategic planning process where goals are developed could happen really elegantly right in Asana with some thoughtful redesign of GOALS ux across the app. Thanks!!!
Also, on top of that, due to the changes in access levels, the team can’t connect their projects to a specific goal because they only have View access. Editor access allows the user to connect to a goal, but I wouldn’t want the whole team to have edit access ;( Tricky situation.
For what it’s worth to all here:
agreed. Currently the only way to tag tasks to goals is by individually searching and selecting them under goals. A much easier way would be if we could multi-select tasks in the list view and then via the multi-select black task bar add them directly to a goal. It would be great if Asana would include this in future product upgrades. Its currently extremly time consuming and inefficient to set up task-based goals.
