PLEASE bring back the “search this project” feature. We have to take four extra steps now just to accomplish the same thing. This has been frustrating, given it used to be so simple.

Quick update for you all (as an Asana Group PM): we have prioritized this work for the first half of this year! We understand the pain here and appreciate your patience. The old iteration wasn’t performant and/or reliable and we had to roll it back. But we look forward to delivering a much improved experience for you all on this soon!

Yes! need this! I didn’t know this was a feature before… but I regularly want this. Ideally a quick keyboard shortcut to quickly search tasks (and subtasks) only within the project currently open.
For some comparison, and/or another idea… I LOVED Trello’s filter shortcut (F) where it would literally filter out all tasks by the keywords you typed so it was REALLY easy to find what you’re looking for because all the ‘noise’ of all the unrelevant tasks is removed.

Hi everyone, I’m excited to announce we have started rolling out the ability to search directly from your projects lis view 
This feature will be available to select customers over the next few weeks. After that, we plan to expand it to all customers across Board, Gantt, Calendar views, and My Tasks as well. Stay tuned!

Consultation (+Question)
When searching within a project (the search box on the far right), results are returned for keywords only in task names.
When searching globally (the search box at the top), results are returned for keywords also in the description.
Is this correct according to the specifications?
