Add "Messages I've received" or "Messages I've exchanged" in Inbox header

Hi teamšŸ‘‹

When I want to check messages Iā€™ve received (and especially the ones I didnā€™t reply to), I often go to Inbox header and realize that I canā€™t go to the messages from there

In metaphor of email, the ā€œInboxā€ folder sounds more like messages Iā€™ve received, rather than messages Iā€™ve sent (ā€œSentā€ folder in email). So Iā€™ve been thinking itā€™s counter intuitive that only ā€œMessages Iā€™ve sentā€ is in Inbox. Iā€™d like to know the decision behind this design if possible :eyes:

Is it possible to add ā€œMessages Iā€™ve receivedā€ to the Inbox header as well?

Or, given that both links are already available in the sidebar, we could go a little differently and combine them to ā€œMessages Iā€™ve exchangedā€ in the Inbox header.

What do you think? Thank you in advance!

Hi @ShunS, thanks for providing this feedback.

This would be a great addition to the Inbox. Hopefully itā€™s something our Product team can implement in the future.

Iā€™ll keep you posted and let you know if we have any updates

Recently I stopped using ā€œMessages Iā€™ve sentā€ from Inbox.

I work around the issue by saving a search ā€œMessages Iā€™ve exchangedā€ (Collaborators: me, opening ā€œMessagesā€ tab, Sort: Last modified) to the sidebar.

I no longer need to feel disappointed and switch to the other view.
Itā€™s great that I only need to check only one place to see all messages. Thatā€™s the beauty of Asana, isnā€™t it?

I hope this is introduced to Inbox (and/or sidebar) as Asanaā€™s official feature.
