Hi,
My ‘Send message’ button disappeared and i cannot locate it anywhere on Asana. The rest of my team still has this feature but unfortunately i do not.
Please assist.

Hey,
What alternative will there be? My colleagues came to me today in despair because they are now finding it even harder to navigate their inbox. We have the same problem. Do we now have to create a search filter?

@Sonja_Möller - for now, I think a saved search will be your best bet. In the future, I believe Asana is looking at enhancements to the inbox more broadly, so hopefully that will ultimately provide a better experience for you and your team.

@Martina14 , not sure if you are looking for the ‘Messages I’ve sent’ tab which folks above are describing (which indeed is going way) OR if you are looking for how to send a message (which that’s what it sounds like) you can always use the orange ‘Create’ button in the top left area and select ‘Message’ from the dropdown.

In the interest of improving user experience and streamlining the inbox feature in the future, we have deprecated the “Messages I’ve sent” tab from inbox. I have shared your feedback with our product team so they can consider it on future updates.
To be able to see the messages you have sent, you can now access this search and star it so it always appears on your sidebar.
I hope this helps! We will make sure to comment on this thread when we have plans to reintroduce this option in the future.

I am experiencing the same issue. This was a very useful feature that helped me keep track of the messages I had sent or to show my collaborators that I had indeed sent them a message. It would be very important to have this functionality enabled again, please.

The “messages I’ve sent” tab is no longer present in Asana (windows app.)
Where can I access this filter now?

Yes, this button has been deprecated. You can still find your messages using advanced search.

This feature being disabled has made the inbox completely useless. I don’t have time to rummage though the advanced features to call back a quick message - especially ones not directly tied to a project. Worst change to the inbox.

How to “star” it? I’ve been having the same issue
@Susan_Fox - welcome to the forum! When you click that link, next to the “Messages I’ve sent” title, click the little star (hovering over it brings up: “add to starred”).
Thank you @Stephen_Li. I don’t have a little star on the link. I only have a dropdown arrow that gives me a choice to copy link or print.
I want to add my voice to the objections over deleting “Messages I’ve Sent.” I spent two hours trying to find a message. Even email keeps a “sent” folder. Please bring this feature back, or at least allow users the option to activate or deactivate it.
