It can be restored, but only by Asana.
I’ve also had a situation where someone just deleted my portfolio, and it took weeks through Asana support to get it back.
My issues with the current way this works are the following:
- Non owners can delete a portfolio
- Owners/members don’t get a notification that the portfolio is deleted and by whom
- No option to restore portfolio
- Incorrect error message when following a link to the deleted portfolio: “You don’t have access to this” or something along those lines.
I fully agree that this needs some attention.
