Add effort field not showing in Workload tab in Portfolios

Not sure why, but I don’t have the “Add Effort” field in my Workload tab in Portfolios. According to the tutorial it should appeat at the front before the word “Today”

Do you have Projects added to the Portfolio already? And if so, are there tasks within this Project that have upcoming due dates and an assignee?

Also, just to be clear, you do have an effort custom field added to the projects themselves already, right? The projects you have in that portfolio.
