Ability to use the same question for multiple branches

It would be helpful to have the ability to use the same question within multiple branches. For example, we have a question with 5 options. For option 1 I need questions A, B, and C to populate, and for option 2 I need B, C, and D.

Right now we have to duplicate the questions and add them to multiple branches but that raises are field count on forms. It also causes issues if there is a multi-select question - if I choose option 1 & 2, there would be duplicates for questions B and C.

Hi @Madison_Schanbacher , welcome to the forum

Good idea! However I think you can avoid duplicate answers as long as you map your questions to custom fields, instead of having all your answers end up just in the description.
Have a look a this:

Hope this helps until we get this feature!

Hi, I’m working on a form for the first time. I have a Multi-Select question with 3 options, and I want to create a ā€œPlease provide more detailā€ follow up question that appears if any of the options are selected. Currently, my solution is to have each option branch out to a separate ā€œPlease provide more detailā€ follow-up. However, if someone chooses 2+ options, then the follow-up gets repeated, like this:

Is there a way to have the follow-up question appear once, if 1 or more options get chosen? And I don’t want to just put the follow-up question as its own question after the first one, because it might not apply. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Welcome, @Pamela_Chung,

Sorry, I don’t think there’s a good solution and you raised the known workarounds, as far as I know.
