I was rather shocked yesterday when I realized I couldn’t really find an easy Export option for just a page. I saw the basic ones for the entire project, but not one on the 3 dot dropdown for the page itself.
I kept trying to copy and paste into Word but Word wasn’t recognizing the markdown. Maybe this is my bad?
Anyway, the ability to print or save locally while retaining format is pretty impoetant to me.
I haven’t used it much, but you could experiment with https://copynpaste.xyz/ which offers Word under More apps as a destination.
@Bastien_Siebman, Asana2Go (Disclaimer: I’m the creator), does a decent job pasting some of the default list-based outputs to Word, but it operates on selected tasks/subtasks, not Pages which is what Kristin is asking about.
For this scenario, I was making a Brand Voice document in an Asana project. I wanted to export it, formatting and all, into Word to: 1. apply my company’s branding, 2. print, and 3. save and share inside of local network folders with other company documents.
Probably crucial detail here: we do not use Asana organization-wide. My department are the only users. While I sometimes do share public Asana links with coworkers, for critical documents I really need to be putting them on our local network where everybody can access.
If I am missing an understanding of the expected functionality, I’m all ears! Of course, getting everyone onto Asana would be the ideal for me but unfortunately that’s not my call at our org. Someday, maybe
