🎨 βš™οΈ A cleaner way to move through Settings - New vertical tabs in Settings modal

Hi Community,

Top tabs had a good run. Settings in Asana now uses vertical tabs on the left side of the modal, which makes each section easier to scan and gives the page a little more room to breathe.

This update is now live and available on all Asana plans.

:sparkling_heart: What changed

  1. The Settings modal navigation moved from tabs across the top to a left-hand rail
  2. Tab names now have more space, which makes sections easier to scan
  3. Each Settings page has more room for its content
  4. The settings themselves have not changed

After:

For anyone moving between areas like Profile, Notifications, Display, and Apps, the whole modal is now easier to move through.

Seen the new layout already? Tell us what you think in the comments.

Were the personalization settings always there? Never noticed it before, I like the new changes.

@Levar_M, I think it’s pretty new, maybe within the last few months.

It is more practical to have in a side panel, and allows to increase the options keeping all of them visible.

Something similar should be available for Project views (or at least a way for each user to customize which tabs they want to see).

I have a project which due to the volume of users has many tabs, but not all of them are relevant for all users :frowning: A feature that enables to show/hide specific ones would be very handy.

@Eduardo_Cordoba, I encourage you to add separate requests for each of your suggestions as topics in English Forum > Product Feedback and vote on them there.

Thanks,

Larry
