Working from home for the first time? 🏡 Here are some tips to set you up for success!

Hi everyone :wave:t3:

With the current situation regarding COVID-19, we know some of you might be advised to work from home over the next couple of weeks, to help slow down the spread of this virus and keep you safe.

While some of you are already used to work from home (looking at you @Bastien_Siebman, @Paul_Grobler, and @lpb :eyes:), for some others it might be a whole new world, so we wanted to share some resources to support you, and set your team for success :muscle:t3:

Here are 3 blog articles including some tips from our own team and from Asana Community Members, on how to work efficiently and make sure you have some clarity while being away from your team:

And if you’d like to learn how other teams like yours are organizing remote work with Asana, you can check out these handy case study:

Thanks, @Marie, for all those great resources (and for the mention), and thanks to the author @Julia_Martins for including all of us.

For anyone new to this, I’m happy to offer more tips, like not setting up camp in arm’s reach of the refrigerator!

Stay safe,

Great post. Sharing with our team. Thank you.

Hope to see you there, and feel free share this with your team too, you’re all very welcome!

Thanks for posting this! I’ve worked from home for the past 3 years now, but others within my company hasn’t.

It can definitely have it’s challenges with keeping the team productive, especially when they haven’t done it before. Now it’s becoming mandatory for all of us to work from home.

I spent the past week updating my templates and helping others get setup in Asana. I’ve created videos showing teams how to navigate and create their own projects.

This is affecting to many people, I’m just trying to do my part and help out where I can.

Thanks for sharing your experience and WFH wisdom with the community. We’re all in this together!

Our team, volunteers have been working from home from the start. We did meet up on Wednesdays or some on Saturday to work together but Google Meet, Asana and Workplace Chat is our friend! You all got this?

Thank you!
