Workflow for event diary

I work as a part of a music team putting on 300+ shows a year.
I am looking to use a form to set tasks in the lead up to the event. We approach pretty much all of the events in the same way but we don’t have an exact time we announce each show in advance.
I am struggling to set tasks with the correct due dates relative to the beginning and end of the running of the event.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Project Templates: if you consider your event a project, which allow you to set relative due dates to either the date you choose for the start or end of the project
  • Task Templates: if you consider your event a task, which will allow you to set relative due dates based on the date you instantiate the task from the task template
  • Dependencies and date shifting: which allow you to make adjustments separately from the above.
