Why the capacity plan is not able to compute a total when given a percentage allocation and a capacity?

Consider the following image.

You can see the allocation using both hours and percentage.

You can find that weird, but still, the product allows it to happen. You don’t see it on the image, but I also defined a capacity weekly for each person.

How come this red area doesn’t have a total? If I give you 20% of a 40-hours-a-week capacity, you should be able to decide what’s the total.

Is this a bug, a missing feature, or am I just not understanding what it is supposed to be?

Yes, I agree it is strange that the product allows you to display (and enter) both methods at the same time. But since the launch of Capacity Plans, it seems the roll up display is just ‘split’ between two ‘worlds’ - one being Estimated time and the other Percentage allocation.

You’re right though, I don’t see why it could not calculate and roll up 20% of a weekly allocation into hours.
