Hi there,
I have recently returned to Asana to help me manage and run my online business. I’m a solopreneur, so I tend to run most of my business on my own, although I do outsource some work from time to time.
Many years ago, I used David Allen’s GTD system, and I’ve been wondering if it would be the right setup for me here in Asana.
However, I’m not sure it’s the best fit, because most of my work isn’t context-dependent… almost everything I do is on the computer. Unless I defined contexts by the type of work I do online, such as @Research, @Content Creation, @Video etc.
I tend to be more project focused: when I sit down at my computer, I usually work on a specific project for 1–2 hours, then move on to another project. I also have daily routines and DMOs (Daily Methods of Operation) that I run through, which could also be considered ongoing projects.
I would love some advice on what kind of productivity system to use with Asana.
If anyone has any links to articles or other suggestions, I’d greatly appreciate it.
I’m open to exploring other productivity frameworks beyond GTD as well.
Thank you!
