Visibility into Asana form submissions

:light_bulb: Tip: When posting a question in the Asana Forum, please try to include:

  1. What you’re trying to do
  2. What you’ve tried so far
  3. What’s not working or confusing

Is there a way to see what you’ve already submitted via an Asana form? We use custom forms to simplify internal workflows, but submitters are losing track of what they have sent in. We do add them as a member to the task that’s created when a form is submitted, but it’s not easy for people to find, especially given the volume of projects/tasks for each user.

Is there a central place where one can see everything that’s a user has sent in via Forms?

If you only have a handful of people who submit your forms, you could create a single select field that has all of their names and then create a rule for whenever that field is changed to a specific person, it adds a specific user to a custom people field. Then, you could have a list view in your project with a filter for the custom people field using the “Me (dynamic)” option so it only shows the tasks that has them assigned in the custom people field.

Building the rule for this can get a bit lengthy to create if it’s a large amount of people (I do it with about 40 people) but it works great.
