Currently have our “clients” as PROJECTS. but think we may make our clients a TEAM- then list the projects we have for them as PROJECTS, this way will make the harvest time tracking add on work well for invoicing.
However query we have before reformatting is:, when we click on our client as a PROJECT - we can view all tasks for the client, but if we change to new format- when we click on team (client) it will just show boxes and every project, not a list of tasks for that client.
Just wondering if there is a view/ report that does this?
Hi @Colette_Stanley, welcome to the Asana Community Forum
At this time, you can only view all a Team’s tasks across projects via the Team Calendar: How to Create, Join, and Manage teams in Asana | Product guide • Asana Product Guide
It is not currently possible to view a Team’s task in List view. That said, I’m going to move this post to #productfeedback so folks in the community can upvote it and so our developers can get a better look at the needs of our members
Thanks for your response. I found that I could do a search under my tasks with the ‘client name’ TEAM to generate a list of incomplete tasks and filter by person responsible. However it doesn’t let you sort this search result list by due date.
I feel like this should be an incredibly easy feature to add because it already exists literally everywhere else in Asana. I don’t understand how a team calendar is a feature but not a list view. Seems very backward.
In the meantime, we have to do something awkward like this to mimic this feature.
