Is there a way to view all files across projects? I know you can click on files view for any given project, but we want to see that same view for all files across the company, like “See every single file” feature on Basecamp.
For now, the best you can do in Asana is advanced search (if you’re on a paid plan) where you specify “Other attachments” and also the list of teams (get that parameter added via Add filter):
You’ll see all tasks you have access to with attachments.
I was hoping you could click the Projects tab in the search results view and see those projects to which you’ve attached files in Overview, but that doesn’t appear to be supported (@Bastien_Siebman, another “BUT” to add).
Thanks,
Larry
@lpb your but is that the search can’t allow to find projects with files in the Overview tab?
Yes, because search seems to interpret parameters with respect to both tasks and projects (assigned to is owner, collaborators are members, due dates are project dates, etc.), but not attachments.
Thanks,
Larry
