Video Meeting Button in Asana's Top Bar

Hey everyone!

I’ve been using Asana for a while now and love how it streamlines project management for our team. However, there’s one feature I feel could really boost collaboration and productivity—a video meeting button right in the top bar!

Right now, the Zoom integration is great, but it’s task-specific—which is awesome if you’re discussing a particular task. But for those times when you just need a quick, impromptu meeting with a teammate, it feels a bit clunky. Sometimes you just need to hop on a video call without tying it to a specific task or project.

Wouldn’t it be super convenient to have a button that allows you to instantly jump into a video meeting with a colleague or the whole team? No more back-and-forth to coordinate a Zoom link or tying a quick conversation to a specific task.

I think this would make Asana even more efficient for random check-ins, brainstorming sessions, or quick decision-making moments. Anyone else feel like this would be a game-changer for their team too?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Cheers!

Hi @mikedfarrell , I’ve moved your post into the Product Feedback category so that you and others can vote on this feature.

You may also want to elaborate on what happens when you click on this button. It sounds like it would open an interface similar to Slack or MS Teams…?
