Data hygiene is pretty important to everyone in my organization. We split full names and addresses into their appropriate fields so that it makes migration easier. With most systems, we use a formula to “join” the separate fields together for easy viewing.
I would love if we had this option with formulas in Asana.
You would expect formulas to do this, but instead in Asana you can achieve this with Rules, such as set task title and use variables from values of other fields.
I have done this, but it can become a little tedious having to do it over and over. Templates help but, again, it’s just the time it takes to build them could be better spent somewhere else.
It would be nice if we could have it as a field (with the name and address fields) that can be added to the field library for our organization. It would save a lot of time!
