I’ve given my supervisor access to view my tasks and have gone through all the steps to allow them access to my custom “status” column so they can easily see the status of everything I’m working on. However, it’s not viewing for them because my future 100s of tasks don’t have a status. Since I’ve given them the permissions, can we please allow custom columns to be seen, even if there isn’t data for each task? This feels like an oversight. I’m not going to add another option for my status column to say “Not Started” just to solve this issue, and take the time to apply it to 100s of tasks as a workaround. Would appreciate this fixed.
Welcome, @Becca_Antoine,
Is there any chance your request is the same as this one?
I haven’t tested this, but I’d be surprised if the cause of your custom field not being visible is because some tasks don’t have a value for it.
If it’s the same, I can merge these thread.
Thanks,
Larry
