I am on the web browser of Asana and we have a huge number of tags. Some are associated with particular custom fields and I have spent time colour coding the tags and fields so they match. As they are existing, I want to change their original colour.
I select the tag so it opens up in its own window
I select the down arrow to open up the menu for the tag
I can select everything else EXCEPT the set colour option.
I have checked several tags and it’s the same thing.
Thanks for looking into it. I was trying to upload a video of my screen but I can only upload images and I couldn’t demonstrate it properly in just a still image. I’m glad you were able to recreate the issue and can look into it for me.
When viewing a selected tag in the web app version of Asana, the associated tag menu options allow me to rename the tag, but I can’t change the color. The “Set color” option is listed in the menu but appears to be disabled and can’t be selected.

Hi everyone, a fix for this issue has been deployed! Please refresh your Asana and you should be able to recolor tags again. Let me know if you still see any issues
Hi, it’s not fixed for me either. I inspected the page and the tags don’t seem to have and actions associated with them in the menu drop-down. Hope it deploys/gets fixed soon🤞
I’m sorry to hear that some of you are still experiencing issues. I’m checking with our Developers to see if there was a delay in the full deployment. It seems that the fix took a bit longer than usual to be deployed, but we’ve got feedback from other users also confirming that it’s working now! If anyone is still having issues, let me know!
