Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
If you edit a task template, when viewing the task template the edits are not visible. Note, future tasks created from this template will contain those edits.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a task template with text “A”.
Edit the task template, change “A” to “B”. Click “done”.
Click the task template to view it, it still shows “A”.
Note, if you create a new task using this task template, it will show “B” correctly. But when viewing the task template, it still shows “A” incorrectly.
Browser version:
Brave 1.62.156
What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)?
Premium
I just followed the steps you shared, but I’m afraid I wasn’t able to reproduce this issue. The task template edits are saved once I click the Save button, and the changes are reflected when I open the task template again. Could you confirm what text in the task template you are editing? For example, the title or description?
I am having the same issue. I am going to Customize>Task Templates>Editing the only task template in the project by adding subtasks. I click “Done” and return to the main project task list. When I click into the grayed out task template from the task list, none of the changes are there.
