Tagging Teammates from Slack Channel

My company has been slowly integrating Asana for a little over a year. Love that we can integrate it into Slack since that’s the easiest way for people to stay on top of things.

However we realized today that when someone hits reply through slack and types @(user name) into the comment section, it’s not actually tagging the people in Asana. So that means they aren’t seeing these comments and things are slipping through the cracks.

Any help or ideas for a solve so people don’t have to dramatically change how they work but can still communicate efficiently with their team?

Unfortunately it is not possible to tag your colleagues in Asana via Slack, my guess it that would be hard for Slack to distinct Asana mentions from Slack mentions.
