Tables not formatted correctly in comments

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the bug you’re experiencing:
Since this morning tables do not format correctly in comments. Columns are set to minimum width. When you edit the comment, the table is shown correctly.

Steps to reproduce:
Add a comment to a task. e.g. Copy / paste a table from an e-mail containing the to, from and subject info. Save comment.

Browser version:
Same issue in
Chrome 121.0.6167.184
Firefox 122.0.1

What version of Asana are you using (Personal, Starter, Advanced, Enterprise, Enterprise+, Premium, Business or legacy Enterprise)?

Other users in the company (on different computers) have the same issue.

Hi @Herve_Buisset, sorry for the inconvenience. Would you be able to share a screenshot of the issue? I’m having trouble replicating this on my end.

Hi @Herve_Buisset, thank you so much for sharing the screenshot. I see what you mean now. As the screenshot had your email address, I’ve deleted your last message just for safety, but I’ve escalated this issue to our Developers for investigation. :slight_smile:

When I add a column to the table, it is displayed correctly

Hi @Herve_Buisset, our Developers have deployed a fix for this issue! Unfortunately, we can’t fix previously broken comments but any future copy and paste tables should be fixed! Thanks again for flagging this.
