Hi! Can you please help me understand if it’s possible to get data from user’s tasks lists making corresponding API requests from the Super Admin account? (with GET https://app.asana.com/api/1.0/users/{user_gid}/user_task_list). Or its access permissions allow to only get its own user task list.
I’ve read this thread on similar topic User's Task list - getting 403 error. It states that any other user’s task lists are forbidden to access, but there is no info on Super Admin capabilities. Would greatly appreciate any help!
No, it’s not possible to access another user’s user_task_list, either with a super admin account or with a Service Account.
There is a new feature, which is still in limited access, that will allow a super admin to access the tasks in other users’ My Tasks, but it’s UI-only; there is no API version of it currently (I haven’t heard of any plans for one FWIW).
