subtasks showing at main task level and subtask level in List view

Someone created two tasks in an Asana project, and somehow he got the subtasks to show up at the main level in the List view. Any idea how the Draft and Draft Due subtasks are displaying like this? Notice when I select the Draft Due subtask, it highlights it both at the main and indented level. We def don’t want this, but I don’t know how he did it???

With either/both Draft Due selected and appearing in the right-side task detail pane, you’ll note that the subtask has been made a member of the project (you’ll see the Project field is valued). Click the “X” beside the project name to remove that membership and it will return to just being a regular subtask and not show as a top-level task anymore. Repeat for the other one.
