This is pretty frustrating. Anytime someone changes a due date on a subtask assigned to THEM it is automatically assigned to me because of the “My Tasks” rules. We need to be able to setup a condition on My Tasks where a rule triggers ONLY when the subtask is assigned to that person. Unselecting subtasks is not a viable option because I do need them to trigger rules when they are assigned to me.
Welcome, @FB_1,
Even if you toggle off Runs on subtasks, as subtask assignee is seen as a top-level My Tasks task, your rule will still fire.
Thanks,
Larry
Ok great! I turned the subtasks toggle off from all of the rules in My Tasks and will see if that fixes it.
Thank you!
It’s probably a good idea to do a test, depending on how many rules you have and what they do (which I have no way of knowing!).
Thanks,
Larry
