My coworker found some bugs about ‘portfolio group by’.
When grouping by multi-select fields in two levels and selecting 2 items in first level field, same project appears in same 2nd level group like the following.
In projects, the same thing doesn’t occur. It’s so weird.
We can’t select multi-select field as 2nd level group from groups, but we can set it from options>groups.
Can’t

I think that is a bug. The portfolio group button should not allow subgrouping by another multi-select field (similar to the current behaviour in projects)
Pinging @Forum-team for review and breaking this out into it’s own thread..

Thank you for pinging.
In projects, the group button allows subgrouping by another multi-select field. And I think the portfolio group button SHOULD allow it.
Also, the behaviour in projects is quite good.
That’s why I changed the title. I’m sorry if you mind that.

Hi @Tetsuo_Kawakami ,
That is a very interesting occurrence. Thank you for spotting and highlighting this.
I agree with @Richard_Sather and suspect a bug, so I flagged this with our Product team for further assessment.
I’ll be back with updates when available!
