Im using Asana Advanced.
On the Home page, there is section called status updates among others or perhaps widgets is the right name.
Status updates is empty - how can I enable this option?

For any project, click the Overview tab and on the far right create a status report:
You can reach this in other ways as well, and you can give status on portfolios and goals as well. Those that you have access to should show up in your Home widget then.

Yes, that is what I though so. I updated a project yesterday, in fact several. However the widget is still empty. Is it because Im the owner of the project? Its privat?

Yes, I think you only see others’ updates, not your own. Though oddly when I just checked I found a case of a single update by on user appearing in their Home > Status widget; not sure why. But generally I think your own updates are excluded.
