Every month I provide the business with an infographic on the various programmes / projects and their progress.
I have now built all of these in the form of a Report in Asana.
The way it is built means that my team has saved 1 full day as the report now updates live.
The limitation I am facing is that I cannot communicate the update of the report within Asana.
Be it a status update feature or a report publish feature (the naming is more apt here).
Publish Report feature would allow me:
- Communicate the report every time I am aware a major change has taken place
- Communicate the report periodically to get the executive to read it
- Increase the executives’ engagement with the platform since they can interact with the report
How would I want the feature to behave?
From the drop down menu, I would like a feature to say publish report
I would like to be able to add participants (just like status update in project / portfolio
I would like to choose their access leave (read only) or Clickable feature to go to the projects where the underlying data is stored.
I do not want them to be able to amend the graphs unless I give them admin access (Sharing admin feature for reports is also missing)
On a side note, this should be a quick fix, but from a UI standpoint, why is a Report being referenced as a Dashboard in the edit function? Consistency would be welcomed!
