Hi Asana.
This would seem a small change to add but powerful for many use cases. This is where my advanced search is created to include multiple tags, but the report is not very usable if I cannot then separate by the same tags used to create the search.

As a workaround you can click twice on the Tag you want to focus on and you will get a view of all tasks in different projects that contains that particular tag. I understand that it is not what you are mentioning here but It might help you in the meantime.
