Below picture is an example of the timeline view. When an assignee has multiple tasks going at the same time, that creates a capacity conflict. It’s theoretically solvable by changing this one task, but in a whole-project roadmap timeline, this can affect a lot of other tasks and are practically not manageable.
We are looking for ideas on how people solve this. We are in the early stage of considering upgrading the entire company to Advanced, but we are not 100% sure if Asana capacity tool will solve this, and would love to know if there are other solutions or 3rd party tool we can use first.
An idea we had was to create a warning when an assignee have more than one task assigned to them on a given day for example, but any ideas or solutions are welcomed.
