Hi!
Previously, it was possible to maximize embedded videos from Loom or display them in full screen mode. I can no longer find this selection, which makes it difficult to view the video properly without opening it in a new tab in the browser. There is an option for a wide view of the task, but the video is not fully visible then. Is there a way to maximize the display of the video?
I assume your best chances of getting an answer is by contacting support: How to contact our Support Team ✉
They’ll probably also be able to tell you whether that is something on the Loom or Asana side of things.
@Jan-Rienk thank you for the reply.
I will try.
Would you mind sharing what they say here? I’d be interested to know, because this has been happening to us, too. It used to be that you could paste a Loom link into the Description and the video would automatically “unfurl” to fill the width of the description area, and you could watch it right there without leaving Asana. It stopped doing that about a month ago and I don’t know why.
Hi Rebekah,
I will share the information as soon as I have feedback from the support team.
It seems like videos are being embedded again in tasks and comments, just by pasting the link to Loom. Not sure if support fixed this, but we didn’t change anything and it started working again.
Hi Rebekah,
I haven’t received any final feedback since support took over, but I hope it continues to work now.
