Section Duplication - Can we add Due Dates?

LOVE the Section Duplication feature added to Asana. This is a much faster way of duplicating and adding to other projects. HOWEVER, there is no option to bring over due dates.
Can we add a “Task due date” checkbox to this as well? It already exists in the project duplication but would be nice to have it in the Section Duplication.

I agree, this would be really helpful and make a good feature even better!

Yes please!
We have a very specific 12-week task setup for many things (a workaround for recurring tasks not appearing in Workload for their upcoming occurrences) and I thought using section duplication would make setting these up this a cinch.
However, if I leave the “set new due dates” option unchecked, due dates are blank on my new tasks.
If I try to select “set new due dates”, I can’t figure out how to get it to just let me use my current due dates on my new tasks.

Wondering if this ever got a resolution or workaround?

Bump!! Please fix this Asana!

I agree! This seems to still be an issue. The only workaround I see is duplicating the project board. It would be very helpful to have the same dates copy over with the dependencies.

+1. This feature would be amazing IF I didn’t have to recreate all of the dates…

It pays to have a SW team on board, we had them create an app that allows for us to add a section to a project based on a template, and since all sections in each project were based on similar templates, the tool also allows us to copy due dates, and assignees from one section another. Basically exactly what we all want from Asana, but done using a separate custom tool. Sometimes you just have to make your own way!
